John has been in the game for over 45 years including 28 in the NFL. He played college football at Dartmouth and coached collegiately at Buffalo and Duke. He has done everything from scouting to GM in the NFL working with Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. John was clearly raised in football as his father spent his life as a player and coach winning Super Bowl V with the Baltimore Colts. John won Super Bowl XXXVII with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers making the pair a rare breed of father-son world champions. John’s son Brad is currently a coach with the Seattle Seahawks and seeking to carry on their family tradition of Super Bowl championships! Idzik and his wife Carol have 3 grown children in addition to their bulldogs Bonnie and Darla.
